Each canard generates a vortex at its outer edge. In a quad configuration, these vortices stack and sequence to form a curtain of controlled airflow between the front splitter's endplates and the wheel wells. This reduces turbulent, high-pressure air rushing inwards from the rotating wheel, keeping the underbody flow cleaner and allowing the undervanes to work more efficiently. As part of the complete ARD Aero Package, the system generates 2555N (574 lbs) of downforce at 180 km\/h, an increase of 1254% compared to the standard 189N of the M2.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eProduced in prepreg carbon fiber. For canards, stiffness is crucial: a canard that deflects under aerodynamic load changes its angle of attack, which degrades the vortex and thus the airflow management.
