Technical note:

Professional valeters and car detailers recommend the two-bucket system to protect against wash-induced swirls. Essentially, it's a safer way to wash your vehicle!

Fill one bucket with soapy water and fill the second bucket with clean water. Always rinse your wash mitt in clean water before reloading it with more soapy water. This extra step keeps the wash water clean and reduces the amount of dirt you bring back to the paint.

Preventing tiny scratches or swirls is one of the biggest challenges in caring for your paintwork. These are caused by dirt and dust particles being rubbed over the car's paintwork during washing; the Grit helps prevent this.

The Grit can simply be placed at the bottom of your bucket. Every time you run your wash mitt through the bucket for more suds, you also rub it against the Grit. This helps remove dirt, and moreover, the Grit Guard ensures that the dirt stays at the bottom of the bucket.
