Adro Prepreg Carbon Diffuser for BMW G87 M2

ARD (ADRO Racing Division) is ADRO's motorsports engineering program developed for drivers that want to get more out of their car on the track. Every ARD part is developed through CFD simulation and track tested. The ARD Rear Diffuser was developed as the endpoint of a full underbody system, not as a stand-alone part.

A diffuser works by gradually returning the fast, low-pressure air beneath the car to ambient pressure. The diffuser under tray seals off the openings that cause turbulent recirculation. The strakes within the diffuser generate vortices that roll along the diffuser surface, energizing the boundary layer and preventing flow separation. The ARD undervanes generate large-scale vortices that direct conditioned, high-speed airflow toward the diffuser inlet. As part of the complete ARD Aero Package, the system generates 2555N (574 lbs) of downforce at 180 km/h, a 1254% increase over the stock 189N of the M2.

Manufactured in pre-preg carbon fiber for maximum rigidity. A diffuser channel that deflects under load changes its expansion geometry and therefore the pressure gradients. Pre-preg accurately maintains the engineered geometry at speed and heat, ensuring the diffuser performs consistently throughout a full session.
