Three components, all out of sight.
A system you're not supposed to notice also really needs to be installed out of sight.
On the dashboard wherever you want it, or hidden behind the glass of your rearview mirror. For some models we make a mount in the vent grille, so it looks factory-fitted.
Under the dashboard or in the trunk. Out of sight and without loose cables.
In the front or rear bumper. Since we install it ourselves, we find the spot with the best signal for each car, instead of sticking to one fixed default location.
The LED display works in nine out of ten cars, even behind an auto-dimming mirror. Only with a mirror that has a built-in camera display is there no room; then it becomes the LCD screen on the dashboard.

We are an official Target Blu Eye dealer and installation specialist. We install the Blu Eye 2 by appointment at our own store and workshop at Uiterwaardenstraat 30 in Elburg, usually within one business day. A courtesy car is available during the work.
Why placement demands precision
A Blu Eye is only as good as the spot where the antenna sits. Metal takes away signal and wiring along a source of interference costs range, so we look for the best position per car instead of sticking to a fixed standard spot. We hide all cables completely behind the trim, so you see nothing of the installation.
Where the antenna goes
As standard, the antenna goes invisibly behind the bumper. With that you detect emergency services up to about one kilometer, which is more than enough for most drivers.
If you want to look further ahead, we place an extra antenna in the shark fin on the roof and the range increases to about two kilometers. If your car has no shark fin, we install one; you book that as a shark fin conversion.
Where the display goes
With the LED display, the rearview mirror is opened and we integrate the screen behind the glass, operated with two small buttons in the lower edge. In nine out of ten cars that works without a problem, even behind an auto-dimming mirror. Only with a mirror that has a built-in camera display is there no room.
With the LCD touchscreen we look for a logical spot in or on the dashboard. For some models we make a holder in the air vent, so it looks like it was always there.

Properly connected right away
If a LaserTrack is also on board, we connect both systems with the add-on cable, so you operate LaserTrack via the Blu Eye display. More about that on LaserTrack installation.
What the installation costs
If you buy the Blu Eye 2 from us, we charge 250 euros for the installation on top of the system. We confirm that when scheduling the appointment.
If you already have a system, or a Blu Eye needs to move from your old car to your new one, the rate is 500 euros excluding VAT, so 605 euros including VAT. What it comes to exactly depends on the car and on where the display and antenna go, so WhatsApp us your license plate.

Moving it to another car.
Is your car changing hands and do you want to take the Blu Eye 2 with you? We do that often. We take the system out and neatly hide it away in the new car.
