Toyota GAZOO Racing didn’t build the GR Yaris for the masses, and neither did we. Backed by CFD testing, the full carbon body kit is developed to work with the GR Yaris’ aerodynamic platform. The result is approximately 165 lbs (+734N) of additional downforce with minimal drag.
The pre-preg carbon bonnet saves weight in all the right places, while at the same time improving the thermal management of the engine bay. The design increases airflow through the bonnet, allowing built-up heat to escape. A meaningful upgrade for track days and spirited driving on the open road.
Pre-preg carbon, also known as dry carbon, is the absolute pinnacle of carbon construction. Resin is pre-impregnated into the fabric in precisely the right proportions and cured under controlled heat and pressure. The result is a part that is lighter, stronger, and more dimensionally stable, with an exceptionally refined surface finish.
